On-the-Job Training (OJT)
On-the-Job Training (OJT) is a creative and proven workforce development intervention in response to a documented demand driven business need. This training will provide WIOA MassHire Career Center business service representatives, counselors, job placement specialists, and their managers with the following practical skills:
- Developing a Regional Employer Outreach strategy and plan
- Prospecting new employers
- Writing competency-based On-the-Job Training plans
- Constructing Work-Based Training Program Designs and Implementation models
- Implementing Practical and Effective Case Management and OJT Program Oversight Procedures and Protocols
A Procedures Manual will be a collateral takeaway for all program attendees.
