Signs and Symptoms of Diabetes

Sometimes symptoms of diabetes can be very mild and aren’t noticeable. If you do have any symptoms, or think you may be at risk for diabetes, ask your doctor or health care provider about getting tested.

Symptoms of diabetes include

  • Frequent urination
  • Feeling very thirsty — even when you are drinking plenty of fluids
  • Feeling very hungry — even though you are eating enough food
  • Extreme fatigue
  • Trouble concentrating
  • Blurry vision
  • Cuts/bruises that are slow to heal
  • Tingling, pain, or numbness in your hands/feet
