Phased Corridor Map

map explained in text

Phase 1 will use the existing Middleborough/Lakeville Commuter Rail Line to provide service from Boston’s South Station to Taunton, New Bedford and Fall River. The Phase 1 Study Area begins at Pilgrim Junction and follows the Middleborough Secondary west to Cotley Junction.

The route then continues south and splits into two legs at Myricks Junction: one leg bound for Fall River following the Fall River Secondary and one leg bound for New Bedford following the New Bedford Main Line. The Stoughton Electric (Full Build), the current preferred alternative, starts at Stoughton station and follows the new Stoughton Line to Cotley Junction
