Overview

This manual describes the processes and lessons learned from the SPECTRuM Project, which implemented a two-pronged strategy to expand access to and improve retention in HIV care and treatment in Massachusetts.

• SPECTRuM Implementation Protocol – Strategy 1 (DOC)
  Strategy 1 employs peer-nurse teams to provide intensive services to out-of-care people living with HIV.
• SPECTRuM Implementation Protocol – Strategy 2 (DOC)
  Strategy 2 implements a mechanism for Department of Public Health HIV Surveillance to communicate with health care providers regarding clients who may be out of care.
