Who is eligible for a MassWorks grant?

Any city or town with a charter that enables them to accept state grants on behalf of that city or town can apply for a MassWorks grant.

MassWorks funds opportunities for cities and towns to development their communities. From creating housing opportunities to improving transportation, MassWorks funding can help strengthen your community.

MassWorks offers funding to:

Economic development and housing opportunities in Gateway Cities
Existing centers of development such as city and town center revitalization projects
Commercial development
Residential development and the construction of multi-family and single-family lots
Transportation improvements to improve roadway safety in small communities
