Statewide health survey: Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance

The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance (BRFSS) is an annual anonymous telephone survey. Your survey responses help us deliver better public health services in Massachusetts.

The Health Survey Program at the Department of Public Health (DPH) operates the BRFSS in Massachusetts. The survey asks about the health and wellbeing of residents across the state. Topics include health risk behaviors, preventive practices, and health care access.

You may receive a call with the caller ID "MA DEPT HLTH". Participant phone numbers are randomly chosen throughout the year.
