Car Seat Safety

Keeping children safe on the road is a top priority. Learn about car seat installation, car seat laws, where to have a car seat professionally installed and more.

Tragically, car crashes are one of the leading causes of death and injury among kids. Proper use of car seats helps keep children safer in the event of a crash.

Car seats reduce the risk of injury by over 71% and reduce the risk of death by 28% in comparison to children restraint by seat belts only. Booster seats reduce the risk of non-fatal injuries in a crash by 45% among kids ages 4 to 8. The type of seat your child needs depends on several factors, including your child's age, size and the type of vehicle you have.
