About Car Seat Inspection Sites
Making sure your child's car seat is correctly installed car seat is important to ensuring their safety when your family is on the road. But installing a car seat can be challenging. Car seat inspection sites are available across the state to install or check car seats for free.
Car seat inspection sites have at least one certified Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technician on staff who can ensure your child’s seat has been installed correctly. They also check seats for recalls and ensure they are the right fit for your child's stage of development. CPS Technicians are certified via training and continuing education on the proper use and installation of car seats and booster seats.
