Car Seat Inspection Sites

Alphabetical list of car seat inspection sites in Massachusetts, with information on when and how families can have their child's car seat installed or checked.

This list of car seat inspection sites is updated regularly by the Office of Grants and Research. Check with the site to confirm that the service is currently available and whether there are residency or other requirements.

Seat checks and installations are offered statewide by the Massachusetts State Police. Call 774-462-3766 to schedule an appointment.

Assistance is also offered remotely by Baystate Health, which serves as the Child Passenger Safety Program Statewide Training Provider. If you would like virtual assistance with your child’s car seat, please contact [e-mail].
