The Commission affirmed the discharge of a North Attleborough police officer who physically assaulted his girlfriend, and an off-duty Plainville police officer who was kissing her. As the girlfriend refused to testify, the Commission and NAPD made a factual determination that the Appellant's was guilty of the claims.

Superior Court affirmed Commission's decision denying the Appellant's reclassification appeal to Forest and Park Supervisor III.

Reclassification appeal denied. The Appellant was unable to show that he performed the level distinguishing duties of Forest and Park Supervisor III a majority of the time.

The Commission dismissed as untimely the appeal of the scoring of the Appellant’s education, certifications, training / licenses and education (ECT&E) component of the Boston Fire Lieutenant Promotional Examination.

An Agawam police sergeant’s demotion was affirmed by the Commission after he neglected to intervene in an incident where excessive force was utilized against a prisoner and failed to ensure the prisoner was provided medical attention.
