The City had just cause to suspend the Appellant for misconduct, including referring to her supervisor in obscene terms, but the level of discipline imposed was not justified. Suspension modified from 30 days to 10 days.
The Commission opted not to initiate an investigation regarding HRD's decision not to score the September 2022 police promotional examinations, citing the need to focus on the administration of the reformatted exams scheduled for September 2023.
The Commission acknowledged receipt of the IBPO's request for investigation and set schedule to receive a more definite statement from the IBPO and a reply from HRD.
