The discharge of a Boston police officer was modified by the Commission to a 10-day suspension. The Commission found the investigation by BPD was flawed where the evidence regarding the military grade explosives found in a Plymouth home was not sufficient to establish that the explosives belonged to the Appellant.
The Commission closed its investigation regarding the former Police's improper use of non-civil service police officers after the City implemented all recommendations included the submission of request for relief to those person aggrieved, which the Commission approved.
The Commission issued an investigative report regarding the prior, unlawful use of non-civil service intermittent police officers in the Methuen Police Department.
