The Commission dismissed the appeal of a Boston Police Officer who contested the fairness of the Oral Board component of his promotional examination for sergeant as his appeal was not timely filed with the Commission and the relief sought by the Appellant is not justified.
After the parties in this matter reached a global settlement agreement, the Commission allowed, with conditions, a modification of its original decision as it related to additional remedial orders required of the Fire Commission.
