The Commission allowed the Appellant’s bypass appeal for original appointment as Correction Officer I (CO 1) as DOC was unable to show a nexus between the Appellant’s alleged unlawful conduct approximately 17 years ago and his current ability to serve as a CO I. Other systemic issues were identified as well.
The Commission denied the Appellant's reclassification appeal as he was unable to show that he performed the level-distinguishing duties of the title of District Maintenance Engineer more than 50% of the time.
