The Commission affirmed the discharge of a Chicopee Police Officer who engaged in domestic abuse and then attempted to visit the victim at her home even though she had told him not to. At the time of the visit, the Appellant was serving a 60-day suspension and his charges had been continued for a year.
The Commission dismissed the bypass appeal for lack of jurisdiction because the Appellant failed to file it within 60 days of receiving the reasons for bypass from the Department of Correction and there was no good cause that would warrant tolling the filing deadline.
