The Commission adopted the tentative decision of the DALA Magistrate and denied the reclassification appeal of a DOR employee seeking to be reclassified as a Program Coordinator I as she was unable to show that she performs the level distinguishing duties of that higher title.
The Commission rejected the appeal of an EDP Systems Analyst III with the Department of Health and Human Services on the basis that the analyst could not perform a key function of the sought after classification.
Bypass appeal denied. The City of Lowell had reasonable justification to bypass the Appellant for original appointment as a police officer based on his prior failure to complete the Police Academy and his poor academic performance subsequent to his disqualification from the Academy.
