The Commission dismissed the reclassification appeal of three water management employees within the Industrial Instructor series at MCI Norfolk given that none of the employees performed the core aspect of their classification series that is any kind of instruction of inmates.

The Commission denied an appeal by a Storekeeper III at the Department of Correction for reclassification to Storekeeper IV given that although their responsibilities were consistent with that of the retired superior, the retired superior's responsibilities were consistent with Storekeeper III and Storekeeper II.

Reclassification appeal allowed. Appellant has shown that she performs the level distinguishing duties of an Administrative Assistant I a majority of the time.

The Commission rejected the appeal of an EDP Systems Analyst III with the Department of Health and Human Services on the basis that the analyst could not perform a key function of the sought after classification.

The Commission dismissed a long-serving and distinguished Industrial Safety and Health Inspector II with the Department of Labor Standards' reclassification appeal given she did not perform the formal supervisory functions of that title or devote more than 50% of her time to its level distinguishing duties.

Reclassification appeal denied. The Appellant was unable to show that he performed the level distinguishing duties of a Program Coordinator III a majority of the time.
