The Commission dismissed the Appellant’s appeal related to the scoring of the education, certifications, training/licenses and experience (ECT&E) component was dismissed as t is not disputed that the Appellant now has received all ECT&E credits he was due.
The Commission dismissed the bypass appeal of the Appellant based on the undisputed fact that he failed to meet the medical standards related to eye examinations required of police officers.
A State Police Officer who had a history of sleeping on the job had his 270-day suspension affirmed by the Commission after it found that he had been inattentive to duty during service of two details and smelled of alcohol during one of them. He was not intoxicated at the time of being tested, however.
