There are different types of housing available for low-income families, elderly persons, and those with disabilities. Congregate and supportive housing with assisted living services may also be available.

Requests for Interpreters are made either directly by Deaf, Deaf-Blind, late deafened, hard of hearing and hearing individuals and/or agencies, etc.

HUD is committed to increasing leadership, collaboration, & coordination among programs serving veterans experiencing homelessness, & promoting rapid access to permanent housing for all veterans. The HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program combines HUD’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance for homeless Veterans with case management & clinical services provided by the VA. The VA provides these services for participating Veterans at VA medical centers (VAMCs), community-based outreach clinics (CBOCs), through VA contractors, or through other VA designated entities.
