Order of Dismissal
The Petitioner appealed the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System’s (MTRS) decision denying her application for a termination retirement allowance. The parties were ordered to file a pre-hearing memorandum by January 2, 2026. Having lost contact with the Petitioner, MTRS filed a motion to dismiss for failure to prosecute. I then issued an order to show cause on January 27, 2026 asking the Petitioner to respond by February 20, 2026 as to why her appeal should not be dismissed. I indicated failure to respond would result in a dismissal. No response was received.
Accordingly, it is hereby ordered the appeal is dismissed for failure to prosecute.
