Order of Dismissal
The Petitioner appealed the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System’s (MTRS) decision denying her application to purchase prior service as a student employee. The parties were ordered to file a joint memorandum, but the Petitioner did not respond to multiple e-mails by MTRS. MTRS then submitted a motion to dismiss, arguing both that the Petitioner no longer wished to prosecute her appeal and also that her appeal was untimely. I issued an order to show cause on December 29, 2025 asking the Petitioner to respond by January 30, 2026 as to why her appeal should not be dismissed. I indicated failure to respond would result in a dismissal. No response was received.
Accordingly, it is hereby ordered the appeal is dismissed for failure to prosecute.
