Order of Dismissal

Petitioner Anna Cyr appeals from a decision of the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System (MTRS) excluding her from the benefits program known as Retirement Plus. G.L. c. 32, § 5(4).  MTRS’s decision is dated in January 2025.  The petitioner lodged the appeal in June 2026, approximately sixteen months after the end of the fifteen-day appeal period prescribed by G.L. c. 32, 16(4). 

A prior order directed the petitioner to show cause why her appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.  See Oxford v. Lawrence Ret. Bd., No. CR-18-5, 2023 WL 11806166 (Contributory Ret. App. Bd. May 17, 2023).  The order advised the petitioner that her failure to comply would result in prompt dismissal.  The petitioner has filed nothing further.  It is therefore ORDERED that this appeal is DISMISSED.
