Petitioner Edward Dever appeals from a decision of the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System declining to treat certain payments to him as “regular compensation” for retirement purposes. See G.L. c. 32, §§ 1, 5.
Mr. Dever made no assertions or arguments in his notice of appeal. A previous order therefore required him to show cause why the appeal should not be dismissed for failure to state a claim. The order specifically directed Mr. Dever to identify the facts and arguments that he views as supportive of his case. Mr. Dever was advised that his “failure to comply . . . will result in prompt dismissal of the appeal.”
Mr. Dever has filed no response. His deadline has expired. It is therefore ORDERED that this appeal is DISMISSED.
