ORDER OF DISMISSAL

On March 2, 2026, petitioner appealed a decision of the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System denying his application to purchase prior service with the Windsor Connecticut public school system from November 1, 1999, to June 30, 2000. The Division of Administrative Law Appeals (DALA) issued an Order to Show Cause requiring him to provide additional information to support his claim by May 8, 2026, noting that failure to provide this information could result in the dismissal of his appeal. Although he provided information by this deadline, it was not the information DALA had requested and was not pertinent to his claim. DALA gave him until June 2, 2026, to provide relevant information. He then requested a 90-day extension, which DALA granted. Mr. Murphy did not respond by the deadline. His appeal is therefore dismissed for failure to prosecute. 801 CMR 1.017()(g)(2).
