Order of Dismissal
Petitioner Sharlene Olson appeals from a decision of the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System (MTRS) determining that she is ineligible to retire for superannuation. MTRS explained in its decision that, according to its calculations, Ms. Olson has not accumulated the requisite “ten or more years of creditable service.” G.L. c. 32, § 5(1)(m).
A prior order directed Ms. Olson to show cause why the appeal should not be dismissed for failure to state a claim. The order stated that Ms. Olson’s failure to respond would warrant prompt dismissal. Ms. Olson’s deadline has expired. She has filed nothing further. Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED that this appeal is DISMISSED.
