Order of Dismissal
Petitioner Marc Sasso is a member of the retirement system administered by the respondent board. Mr. Sasso presented the board with an application to purchase retirement credit for the period from March 2002 to January 2003. The board denied the application, reporting its understanding that Mr. Sasso was “on an unpaid leave of absence” during the pertinent period. See G.L. c. 32, § 4(1)(c).
Mr. Sasso filed this appeal, stating that he “do[es] not believe [the board’s] decision is correct.” A prior order directed Mr. Sasso to identify any specific legal or factual error in the board’s analysis. The order advised Mr. Sasso that his failure to comply would result in dismissal for failure to state a claim.
Mr. Sasso’s deadline has expired. He has filed nothing further. It is therefore ORDERED that this appeal is DISMISSED.
