Order of Dismissal

Petitioner is attempting to appeal a denial of what he thinks is an application for accidental disability retirement under G.L. c. 32, § 7.  DALA ordered him to submit a copy of the Board’s denial letter. Instead, he submitted what appears to be a denial letter from a private insurance company regarding a private claim for long term disability coverage.  Again, on January 23, 2026, DALA ordered Mr. Shannon to file a copy of the Board’s denial letter no later than January 30, 2026.

The Petitioner failed to respond to the January 23, 2026, order.  Accordingly, this matter is hereby DISMISSED for lack of prosecution.
