Order of Dismissal

Petitioner Renee Spizz appealed a decision of the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System concerning her application to purchase creditable service for her work as a substitute teacher. On May 18, 2026, Ms. Spizz notified the Division of Administrative Law Appeals that she had received creditable service for a portion of her work and that she considered the case to be “over.”

I consider Ms. Spizz’s notice to be a withdrawal of her appeal. 801 C.M.R. § 1.01(6)(g). The withdrawal is accepted. The appeal is dismissed as moot.
