Order of Dismissal
The Petitioner appeals from the Mass. Teachers Retirement System’s (MTRS) denial of her request to purchase prior creditable service for out-of-state public school service she rendered in Colorado. The MTRS denied the request because it said that the Petitioner was eligible to receive a retirement benefit from Colorado.
On May 1, 2025, the Petitioner was directed to show cause why the appeal should not be dismissed for failure to state a claim by June 6, 2025. 801 Code Mass. Regs. § 1.01(7)(g)(3). She was advised that failure to respond would result in dismissal of the appeal. The Petitioner did not submit a response to the Order to Show Cause. Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED that the appeal is DISMISSED for failure to posecute.
