Order of Dismissal
On January 17, 2025, the State Board of Retirement (SBR) moved to dismiss this appeal. DALA’s file and docketing system do not indicate that the petitioner responded.
On March 24, 2025, I emailed the petitioner to ask whether she had opposed the motion and whether she was still pursuing her appeal. Because she did not respond, I issued, on April 14, 2025, an order to show cause by April 24, 2025.
Instead of responding to the order to show cause, the petitioner on April 23, 2025 asked SBR, with a cc to me, for a continuance to respond to the motion to dismiss by May 27, 2025.
On April 30, 2025, I granted the continuance and advised the petitioner that her appeal remained at risk for being dismissed for failure to prosecute it.
The petitioner has not responded to either the motion to dismiss or the order to show cause. I dismiss her appeal.
