Order of Dismissal
The Petitioner appealed the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System’s (MTRS) denial of her request to purchase prior creditable service from a nonpublic school. MTRS found that the tuition of all students was not funded in part or in full by the Commonwealth; it also said she was entitled to receive a retirement benefit from her time there. I issued an order to show cause asking the Petitioner to respond by December 19, 2025. I indicated the matter would be dismissed if she failed to provide a valid explanation. No response was received by the deadline.
Accordingly, it is hereby ordered the appeal is dismissed for failure to prosecute.
