Disability Rights

Massachusetts Office on Disability can help you understand disability rights

The Massachusetts Office on Disability (MOD) can help you understand how disability laws and regulations may or may not apply in your situation, including your rights, responsibilities and options for recourse. We focus on answering questions around barriers to participation for people with disabilities.

For vocational rehabilitation (VR) and independent living (IL) services, we refer people to the organizations that specialize in these services. Our Client Assistance Program (CAP) provides confidential and neutral support for people who have questions and concerns about their VR/IL services or their rights.
