Electronic control weapons, commonly known as Tasers, are often times deployed with law enforcement agencies and are subject to regulations regarding their use and training required. The Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS), through the Office of Grants and Research (OGR), collects and disseminates statistics on the use of these weapons.
