Employers Against Sex Trafficking (EAST)

Join Attorney General Maura Healey and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh's initiative to reduce demand for the purchase of illegal sex. Learn more about the project's partners.

Attorney General Maura Healey and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh adopted zero-tolerance policies for sex-buying in their workplaces. We invite your organization to join in making the same commitment to reducing demand for the purchase of illegal sex. Human traffickers profit from the sexual exploitation of vulnerable children and adults, which is fueled by buyers seeking to purchase sex.

Arrest data and cyber-crime tracking show that many sex buyers are our employees and co-workers. Further, that the products and services of our institutions - from hotels to transportation to universities - are being used to facilitate illegal sex trafficking. The business community has a critical role to play in reducing demand for the purchase of sex. Learn more about the project's partners below.
