NOTICE OF MEETING

The Board of Registration of Allied Health Professions, by and through its validly constituted Regulations Review Subcommittee, is considering recommending changes to 259 CMR 6.00, the Rules and Regulations governing the registration and conduct of Physical Therapy Facilities. The review of the regulations will be conducted pursuant to the Board’s desire to update and streamline its current facility regulations. The current regulations are available on line at https://www.mass.gov/regulations/259-CMR-6-physical-therapy-facilities.

In advance of considering draft changes and implementing the formal regulatory amendment process, the Board welcomes interested members of the public to attend a special meeting to provide input with regards to topics and possible changes the public would like the Board to consider in light of current professional practice and the regulations as presently constituted. All sections of the physical therapy facility regulations are to be considered for revision, thus all comments are welcome. The meeting will be held as follows:
