Overview
The State Library of Massachusetts invites you to join us for a special collaborative event this summer, where members of the Greater Boston archival community will come together under one roof at the State House. For the past two years, the Boston Archivists Meet-up Group has organized "Archives Crawls" across the city. This year, we’re doing something different to mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. We are hosting a centrally located, tabled pop-up event in the State Library Reading Room, featuring archivists from 16 area institutions. Come explore how the concepts of independence and freedom are expressed through our diverse collection items from the Revolutionary period and beyond.
