Overview of Auditor Bump to Discuss Regional School Financing at Triton Regional High School
State Auditor Suzanne M. Bump will discuss the recommendations from the report Supporting Student and Community Success: Updating the Structure and Finance of Massachusetts Regional School Districts released by her office's Division of Local Mandates in October 2017 at Triton Regional High School on Thursday, January 25 at 6:30 p.m.
The event, hosted by the Triton Regional School Committee will include a discussion with state officials about the report's findings, possible solutions to the issues raised, and an opportunity for questions from local regional school constituents. Also participating in the forum are: Senator Bruce Tarr; Senator Kathleen O'Connor Ives; Representative Brad Hill; Representative Lenny Mirra; and Representative James Kelcourse.
Members of other local regional school committees and town officials from Pentucket, Masconomet, Hamilton-Wenham, and Manchester-Essex districts have also been invited to attend.
The event is free and open to the public.
