Public Meeting Notice  Board of Examiners of Sheet Metal Workers Meeting - 4.15.26

In accordance with the provisions of G.L. c. 30A § 20, the Board of Examiners of Sheet Metal Workers convened a regular monthly meeting on:

The topics shown below were discussed at the aforementioned meeting: 9:05 A.M. the Chair P. Kelly called the open meeting to order.  

Informational note: All votes were taken by roll call. Where each member voted in favor, the vote will be reported as unanimous.

1. Reviewed March 18, 2026, meeting minutes. 
2. P. Kelly suggested one word change, changing the word opposing to abstain, under his vote for Chair.  
3. T. Hathaway made a motion, and it was seconded by A. DeAngelo, and the members present by majority VOTED: to accept the minutes with amendment as requested by P. Kelly.

6. Hybrid Education
   1. There were no suggestions to the Hybrid Education Draft Outline that was approved at the March meeting. No votes were taken.
7. 40 - hour Master Course Proposal - Gould Construction Institute
   1. S. Demers made a motion, and it was seconded by T. Hathaway, and the members present by majority VOTED: to approve the proposal as presented.
8. Discussed other matters not reasonably anticipated 48 hours in advance of the meeting. No matters presented.
9. Adjournment – the next meeting is scheduled for June 17, 2026, at 9:00 AM.
   1. A. DeAngelo made a motion, R. Bartash seconded, and the members present unanimously VOTED: to move to Executive Session and not return to public meeting.
