State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey and Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Director David C. Evans will present certificates of completion to members of the Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training Class #73 on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Department of Fire Services, 1 State Road, Stow MA.
Graduates from 22 Fire Departments
The graduates represent the 22 fire departments of: Ashburnham, Auburn, Ayer, Dover, Groton, Hopedale, Hudson, Lunenburg, Lynnfield, Millbury, Nahant, Pepperell, Phillipston, Princeton, Shirley, Sterling, Stow, Templeton, Townsend, Uxbridge, West Boylston, and Westminster.
The Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training program is unique in that it delivers a standard recruit training curriculum, meeting national standards, on nights and weekends to accommodate the schedule of firefighters in rural areas.
Invited guests include: representatives of the Massachusetts Fire Training Council, city and town officials, family members of recruits, and chiefs of department.
