The Massachusetts Universal Newborn Hearing Screening Program presents an event for families who have a child who is deaf or hard of hearing.
Agenda
Collaboration and transition
A family will share their experience with transition to pre-school and the supportive team that surrounded them including MCDHH and Early Intervention providers.
Listening fatigue
Listening is hard work. Learn how to recognize the onset of fatigue and learn strategies to help your child succeed.
Technology demonstration
Not sure what kind of visual aids or alarms will work for your family? Come see fire and carbon monoxide safety devices, flashing and vibrating alarms, and other products to help keep your child safe.
