(b) Review of code change proposal on 527 CMR 1.00, 52.9.4 submitted by Justin Woodside received on February 16, 2024.
Proposed Language:
NFPA 1 – MA 527 CMR 1 Chapter 52.9.4 – Location
ESS shall only be installed in the locations specified by 52.9.4.1
52.9.4.1 – ESS installations will be allowed in existing fire rated garages or fire rated enclosures with exterior access, or in an outside location specified by Chapter 15 of NFPA 855.
No Exemption for sprinklered buildings
