Join us for a 3.2-mile out/back hike on Quabbin’s north side of the watershed. We will be walking down to the water on a dirt road through the forest. Walking to the water, the hike covers 1.6 miles and remains relatively flat. We will then backtrack and head out the way we came in. Please dress appropriately for weather and insects, wear safe, suitable footwear, and bring water.
Hike begins at Quabbin Reservoir’s Gate 33. The parking area for Gate 33 is located on Route 122 in the town of New Salem.
Dogs are not allowed in Quabbin Park.
