Navigating the workplace as a person with a disability can feel overwhelming. Too often, asking for accommodations is met with misunderstanding, hesitation, or even resistance – leaving individuals feeling isolated or unsupported. This session aims to shift that reality by increasing awareness, empathy, and practical knowledge around disability in professional spaces. We will explore barriers that exist surrounding accommodations and highlight best practices for creating inclusive environments. Participants will understand how to build workplaces where every individual is set up for success.
