The Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure’s Office of Public Safety and Inspections (“Office”) is conducting a review of regulations governing Amusement Devices, 520 CMR 5.00.  The purpose of this review is to consider what amendments are necessary to those regulations to ensure they are up to date with technology, industry best practices and the operational needs of the agency, while ensuring they provide the adequate protection to the public without being unnecessarily onerous on the industry.  The purpose of this session is to solicit comments regarding the existing regulations only.  In addition, the Office encourages and welcomes the submission of written comments prior to the meeting, which can be sent by mail or by e-mail to: cesar.lastra@mass.gov.  Questions on this meeting should be directed to the office, which can be reached at (508) 686-6082.
