Public Meeting Notice  PERSPECTIVES ON DIVERSITY IN DESIGNER SELECTION - BosNOMA & DCAMM

Join the Designer Selection Board on June 26th at 8:30AM for a presentation/Board conversation with Hansy Barraza, Founder of BosNOMA BIPOC Firm Owners Sub-Committee and previous DSB Board member, Susan Goldfischer DCAMM Deputy General Counsel for Access and Opportunity, and Charles Kelsey Director of Access and Opportunity.

Susan Goldfischer and Charles Kelsey will present the Affirmative Marketing Program’s history, legal requirements, processes, and the critical importance of the goals. Hansy Barraza will discuss the importance of diversity in the designer selection process, outline the current disparities that exist, and discuss recommendations on improving access to public work for underrepresented firms.
