Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30A, §2, the Department of Correction will hold a virtual public hearing on proposed amendments to the following regulation: 103 CMR 481: Inmate Mail

Due to the State of Emergency declared by Governor Charles D. Baker on March 10, 2020 and subsequent orders limiting public gatherings, the public hearing on this regulation shall be held virtually at 10:00 am on Friday, January 29, 2021.

Speakers are requested to provide a written copy of their planned testimony and all interested parties are encouraged to submit written comments electronically. Comments relating to 103 CMR 481 should be submitted to Kathleen Richard, Program Coordinator, Department of Correction, 70 Franklin Street, Suite 600, Boston, MA 02110 or kathleen.richard@state.ma.us. All written or oral comments submitted to the Department may be posted on the Department's and released in response to a request for public records. All written testimony and comments must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on January 29, 2021 in order to be taken under advisement.
