Public meeting notice for Municipal Finance Oversight Board

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30A, § 20, that a meeting of the Municipal Finance Oversight Board, established under Chapter 46 of the Acts of 2003, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in room 230 of the State House, Boston, Massachusetts.

City of Lawrence: A Chapter 44A request to issue $16,264,040 in bonds as state qualified bonds for the following:

• heating for the main library
   
• improvements to city owned parking lots, including lighting and guardrails, paving and fencing
   
• ADA improvements to city buildings
   
• floor repair at the Central Fire Station
   
• repairs to various parking garages
   
• renovation of the South Lawrence East Concession
   
• IT equipment for City Hall
   
• park renovations and equipment
   
• radio system improvements for both the Fire and Police Departments
   
• boiler and roof replacement at Community Day Arlington School
   
• roof replacement at the School for Exceptional Studies
   
• feasibility study for the Oliver Partnership

City of Revere: A Chapter 44A request to issue $10,120,000 in bonds as state qualified bonds for the following:

• Boiler replacement at the Garfield School
   
• municipal vehicles and equipment
   
• capital equipment
   
• water mains
   
• illicit connection and sump pump investigation planning and removal program

Long-range municipal fiscal security

Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair of the Municipal Finance Oversight Board within 48 hours of the meeting
