Overview of Quincy Route 3A/Hancock Street Transportation Improvements Study Public Workshop & Site Walk
MassDOT will hold a public information meeting for the Quincy Route 3A/Hancock Street Transportation Improvements Study on May 14, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in-person at North Quincy High School. A site walk with local stakeholders led by MassDOT will precede the meeting at 4:00 p.m., leaving from the North Quincy High School parking lot.
At this meeting there will be an overview of the study and MassDOT will solicit feedback on opportunities and concerns in the corridor. For those wishing to bring children, a coloring station will be provided.
The Quincy Route 3A/Hancock Street Transportation Improvements Study is an effort to review existing transportation conditions at the northern Hancock Street section of Route 3A. MassDOT will evaluate congestion and gaps in the multimodal transportation network and work with stakeholders to develop recommendations for the future of travel on this corridor.
These meetings are accessible to people with disabilities and those with limited English proficiency. Accessibility accommodations and language services will be provided free of charge, upon request, as available.
