Meeting called to order at 9:34 a.m.

Thomas Gilbert - Representative of Ski Clubs or Others who Patronize Recreational Tramways- Present

Vacant Seat - Rep. of Tramway liability insurance company

  1. Discuss / Vote Meeting minutes from 04/17/25 Meeting

Daniel Kilburn made a motion to approve the meeting minutes from 04/17/2025, and the motion was seconded by Paul Maloney. .

  2. Tramway License Application – Southwick’s Zoo

    Cesar Lastra of DOL presented the Tramway License Application for Southwick’s Zoo for Board members’ review. After a discussion, Paul Maloney made a motion to approve the Tramway License Application for Southwick’s Zoo, and the motion was seconded by Daniel Kilburn.

  2. Tramway Construction Application – Wachusett

    Jeff Crowley recused himself from this Cesar Lastra of DOL presented the Wachusett Tramway Construction application for Board members’ review, noting that the required building permit is apparently in progress, and has not yet been submitted to DOL The required profile for the lift line is pending and also has not been received. After a brief discussion, the incomplete application was tabled.

  4. Regulation Revisions

    General Counsel Greer Croxford discussed Governor Healey’s statewide regulations initiative. Board Counsel presented a draft revised regulations to 526 CMR 10.00, including many changes the Board had approved in prior meetings.  . The Board requested additional time to review the updated draft revisions, and planned to scheduled a vote for the next meeting. 

  5. Discuss Matters not reasonably anticipated 48 hours in advance of meeting
  6. Adjourn

Jeff Crowley made a motion to adjourn the meeting, which was seconded by Paul Maloney.
