Overview of Resource Management Plan for the Blackstone Complex
Including the following properties: Blackstone River and Canal Heritage State Park, Upton State Forest, Sutton State Forest, Purgatory Chasm State Reservation, Douglas State Forest, Southern New England Trunkline Trail (SNETT), and Blackstone River Greenway
DCR is in the process of developing a Resource Management Plan for its Blackstone Complex. The purpose of this meeting is to present information about the resource management planning process and to hear your concerns and ideas about priority management issues related to recreation, stewardship of resources, and park facilities. If you have questions about this public meeting, please contact DCR Updates at (617) 626-4974 or DCR.Updates@state.ma.us.
Written comments may be submitted to DCR after the public meeting through April 27, 2018, either online at https://www.mass.gov/forms/dcr-public-comments or by mail to the Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Public Outreach, 251 Causeway Street, 9th Floor, Boston, MA 02114, noting “Blackstone Complex RMP” in the subject line.
